Dr. Noora Vikman from the department of Soundscape and Cultural Studies invited us to give a guest lecture about building and recording tree harps, as well as presenting a public tree harp installation. The lecture took place at the Joensuu campus of Eastern Finland University on May 19, 2023.

A Tree Harp was installed in a dead hollow pine tree in Kuhasalo park in Jonensuu, Finalnd as the public demonstration portion of the guest lecture on May 21, 2023.  Attendees of the installation included the professional kantele player Katja Malinen.  We left the tree harp installed until May 24 at the request of people who wanted to play it during the week.
